After much consideration I finally gave into creating a blog. I plan to use it to keep friends and family updated on what David, Bella, and I are up to.
Well, its summer and David is taking no breaks from his studies! He is currently taking a six week pre-calculus class so its got an intense pace. He comes home from his two hour class, takes a break, and starts his tedious homework, with smaller breaks in-between. Generally its off to bed by the time he finishes.
Bella is still recovering from her gun shot wound; recently she developed a mass on her leg and the vet said it was probably a piece of the bullet that was making its way out. So after a couple of weeks of antibiotics, we still have to clean her wound daily until the debris comes out :(
I have been working and studying/applying/and now waiting to hear back from the nursing program in Broward. So if I get accepted we're looking to move south to Pompano Beach since its not too far south and David can still attend Palm Beach State.
Today I worked on some paintings for the Saturday morning class I teach. I decided to bring them home because I never get to finish them. I always have to paint quickly and then spend the rest of the time walking around and making sure the children know how to do it. I've also been getting ready to start working at an art summer camp. I don't officially have the job yet due to technicalities but the director has told me that I'm in it for the summer.
I had this really good idea (at least I think it's good): painting large serene landscapes that can cover most of the living room wall. That way we don't have to permanently leave a mural in every apartment we live in. Generally I just want to start painting BIG (not TINY).
